Flowsheets are used throughout the product. Using flowsheets are methods of asking specific or custom data that you
need to ask or capture, then allows entering in results and values to stored observations in a quick flowsheet manner. Flowsheets can be used for quick data entry screens to key
in lab test results, or even used in patient questionnaires as a way to get the data in quickly. Flowsheets are also used to capture data or information from patients/employees or
applicants using the respective portals. Some common places where flowsheets are used are: in encounters, in charts (such as Provider charts), the applicant and/or patient portal,
and also within the observation chart tab of a patient/employee chart. With our flowsheets editor, flowsheets can be customized which allows you to capture the data important to
your workflows and area of business.
With the product flowsheet editor, superusers and configure and customize the data they want to collect for portal flowsheets, or encounter section flowsheets, or even for data
capture of test results.
The way WC/EH does it is through highly configurable, easily manageable flowsheet editor.
Flowsheet configuration requires security permission to access. It is helpful to have watched course 105.g Observations before learning how to configure Flowsheets. Observations
must exist in the system's Observation Codes Editor, in order to then configure a flowsheet to be used in the system.
