Email
notifications can be generated in regards to a chart or in regards to an appointment. Email notifications can be generated on-demand by end users with security permission,
or the system can utilize scheduled jobs to generate and send email notifications/reminders based on an automated routine event need.
The system contains several out of the box email templates with pre-templated verbiage that can be configured to send automatically or they can be sent manually. Some examples
include appointment reminders or confirmations, health surveillance emails such as patient/supervisor notifications and reminders with links to the patient portal.
