
The Patient portal offers a means to streamline patient engagement and tracking, as well as offer easy access to due lists, work status, shared medical data, and simplify health surveillance. The patient portal is available 24/7 and provides secure access to health information and documents and messaging. A clinician can initiate an electronic message from the chart, to be received and read by the patient via the Patient Portal. A patient can also utilize the Patient Portal to initiate an electronic question or message to a clinician using the product. This would save phone calls, leaving messages, and time. Electronic messages are stored as documents within the chart and use Tasking as a backbone structure.
