The Patient portal offers a means to streamline patient engagement and tracking, as well as offer easy access to due lists, work status, shared medical data, and simplify health surveillance. The patient portal is available 24/7 and provides secure access to health information and documents.  A clinician can share a stored document from the chart, to the patient via the Patient Portal.  This would save printing, mailing, and time.
